An efficient way to learn Vocabulary

Learning vocabulary can be very challenging as an adult. Many hours could be spent tediously working through a dictionary to no avail. It might seem as though the only way is to do it in a very slow way by reading books and other such activities. However, recently I came across a solution to this need of mine to improve my English vocabulary as a non-native.

There is an app on all available platforms called WordUp. It follows a scientific method to help efficiently improve your vocabulary. It does so by first creating a knowledge map of your stance in the vocabulary landscape. And then based on that, it predicts the words that might want to learn. To help you remember the word forever it shows you the learned word over and over again over extended periods of time. This process is incredibly efficient. It might seem like a long workaround but there simply isn’t a shorter path as of yet and is definitely faster than the alternative of just looking up words once in a dictionary.
